KEHLANI DROPS SWEETSEXYSAVAGE!!!

IS IT HOTT OR NOTTT?? FIND OUT HERE!

We’ve been patiently waiting to hear from miss tatted, Kehlani after hearing her mixtape You Should Be Here that was pretty dope, despite the annoying emo songs she was clearly forced to place on the album. Kehlani dropped her latest studio album, SweetSexySavage Jan 27 by Atlantic Records. The 19-track (deluxe album)album was pretty catchy. I’ve only got through one listen through, but so far the production of the album was excellent compared to her previous projects. You can tell she’s spent some time and money working with a more professional team. The beats were fire, especially the songs where she dug into the whole 90’s vibe. As usual, with a project that long, the songs after track 12 where almost a struggle to get through. It’s only so much of Kehlani being Kehlani, one can take. A majority of the album was taken care of by Pop and Oak (who she worked with on You Should Be Here), but also, working with producers and director, ¬†Jahaan Sweet. “CRZY” was the lead single from SweetSexySavage in July 2016. The second single “Distraction” was released also in July of 2016. The third single from the album was “Advice” which was released December 2016. “Advice” was probably my least favorite song on the album. Kehlani’s fourth single off the SweetSexySavage album was “Undercover”, released January 2017. All in all, Kehlani¬†did a good job her album, SweetSexySavage. It probably would’ve done better for me had there been fewer tracks on the album. They all started to sound the same after a while.

Fav song on the album? “Distraction” and “Personal”.
