THE WESTCOAST TOOK A BIG “L” WHEN DOM KENNEDY DROPPED THAT PREMATURE MIXTAPE
I don’t know what in the hell Dom Kennedy was thinking when he put out his last album Los Angeles is not for Sale (check my previous posts to get the whole review). Whatever that crap that he put out was a complete embarrassment to the ENTIRE west side of America. But thank the hip-hop God’s for sending Casey Veggies to the rescue. No, Casey didn’t drop a ground-breaking album or mixtape. No, Casey didn’t bring salvation to all of hip hop. Casey Veggies simply dropped a new single that was 100 times better than all of Los Angeles is not for Sale. Casey Veggies dropped “All Eyes on Me” earlier this week. The track produced by DJ Reflex wasn’t the greatest, but it saved the WestCoast for now. He stuck to the true Cali sound that the people are listening for. Something to listen to with the top down, riding slow with one hand on the steering wheel; everything that Dom clearly lost sight of.
THECARTER rates “All Eyez On Me” a smooth 7 on THECARTER Scale.
