ATLANTA’S OWN: MICHAEL ARISTOTLE IS HOLDING THE HEAT ON HIS NEW ALBUM!
“LOVE IS EASTSIDE, WHO ARE YOU TO HATE”– Bino
I’m going to start this off by saying that I literally listened to this man’s album three times in a row, for two days straight. Why, you ask? BECAUSE IT’S FREAKING FIRE! The 17-track album was strategically produced with so many visuals, I could have sworn it was a movie. He opens the album with a complete R&B track, Drowning, which stays on repeat for me. He proceeds the rest album with this idea of how life would be had he won the Mega Millions. Perfect concept. All the women, money, bottles, drugs, Waffle Houses, all the things you could have in the palm of your hands with millions of dollars; all things is lyrically summed up in Mega Millions and supported by catchy trap beats and perfect, relevant intros.
Brooklyn born, Atlanta raised Micheal Aristotle, 23, has been writing music since he was twelve years old. Partnering with his producer and friend, Wili Hendrixs since age sixteen, Aristotle has been perfecting his craft. He is signed under his own record label, East Chain and released his third album, Mega Millions proceeding What Tomorrow May Hold, 2013, and Thanks for Nothing, 2015 early December 2016.
Mega Millions was perfectly crafted; hands down. And I’m not only saying this because I know dude, I am saying this as a person who respects someone who can not only create an album, but one who can make me visualize the album and its concept; recognizing it’s more than bars and beats; it about the story you’re trying to create.
Well done, Mikey!
